Invisalign
Our Invisalign Treatment
Welcome to the 21st century, where we can disguise your orthodontic treatment! Invisalign comprises of clear aligners that are almost ‘invisible’ to the naked eye. This allows you to straighten your teeth discreetly and with very little interruption to your day-to-day living.
About Invisalign
Invisalign is the clear and almost invisible alternative to traditional braces. Invisalign helps align your teeth without metal braces, which is perfect for those who are embarrassed or feel the need to disguise their teeth alignment treatment. Due to advancement in materials, the new line of Invisalign is very effective at aligning your teeth quickly.
Another great aspect of Invisalign is that the transparent aligners are removable. The benefit of this is if you’ve got an important event, you can leave out your aligners and pop them back in when you’re finished! The Invisalign treatment allows you to live your life the way you intended, with no interruptions.
How It Works
Invisalign involves wearing a range of clear plastic aligners, similar to mouth guards, which are custom made specifically for your individual treatment.
These aligners are removable for cleaning and eating and you will need to change them over for a new set of aligners every two weeks. Each new aligner takes the adjustment of your teeth one step further.
You will receive two to three sets of aligners at a time to minimise the number of dental appointments. This means that you spend less time at the dentist while still getting great results.
Achieve the best teeth straightening results with Invisalign
To get the best results from your treatment you will need to wear your Invisalign aligners for between 20 and 22 hours a day, every day. By following this regime you will help to ensure your teeth are straightened in the prescribed time.
You will also need to take the aligners out when you eat and brush your teeth before placing the aligners back on.
After Treatment
Clear aligners are often recommended for ongoing use after you complete your orthodontic treatment, as they help to maintain your desired results because your teeth may not be finished moving.
These clear aligners also help to ensure your teeth maintain their new position, as our teeth do have a tendency to shift back to their crooked position.
The difference between clear aligners post-treatment and Invisalign is that you don’t have to wear the clear aligners for 20-22 hours per day.
