Our FAQs
Do you have a pressing question that you need answered? We have complied a list of frequently asked questions for your convenience.
It is important to attend your regular 6 monthly dental appointments to help keep your gums and teeth healthy. We want to help you keep your oral hygiene in tip-top condition; hence when you visit us for your check-up, we can assess any issues while they are small before they turn into bigger and more complex problems.
To keep your oral hygiene in optimum condition, we recommend visiting us twice a year, however, if you’re susceptible to gum disease, pregnancy, smoking or mouth cancer we recommend that you visit us more frequently. For more information, visit our page on check-ups.
Our patients usually find the tooth whitening process comfortable, however, sometimes sensitivity of the teeth can be experienced for a few days following tooth whitening. If this occurs, our friendly team can discuss with you what options are available to calm oral sensitivity.
If you have sensitive teeth, talk to our friendly team about options to calm your oral sensitivity. Feel free to contact us for more information.
At Sublime Dental, we offer both Traditional and Ceramic braces in addition to SmileFast and Invisalign. SmileFast technology allows us to straighten your teeth in a short period of time. Invisalign offers you the ability to discreetly straighten your teeth and align your jaw with the almost ‘invisible’ technology. For more information about our braces treatments, see our orthodontics page.
Sleep dentistry is having dental work done whilst you are sedated in a ‘sleep state’. This way you do not need to worry about anything, just relax and close your eyes. This is a good option to consider if you are particularly anxious to visit the dentist. To learn more about our sedation options please visit our Sedation Dentistry page.
We offer several different approaches to implant dentistry. Whether you’re in need of one or more teeth replacement, we can personalise a plan that best suits both you and your budget. Our solutions include missing tooth or teeth treatments, full-arch restorations, and bone grafting. For more information about our implant treatments, see our implant dentistry page.
A dental implant is placed within the jawbone to prevent the surrounding teeth from rotating and shifting out of place, causing further damage to your mouth. Dental implants can help to restore a smile by replacing a missing tooth at the same time as it prevents the surrounding teeth from being sacrificed by the placement of a traditional bridge. If you’re interested in learning more about our implants, see our implant dentistry page.
At Sublime Dental, we can cater for your whole family! From the littlest patient, all the way up to your extended family we have treatments to keep everybody’s mouth in optimum health. We are passionate about our little patients, and we believe that no one should be afraid of the dentist; rather, they should enjoy each visit and look forward to their next one. If you’d like to know more, visit our children’s dentistry page.
